Shipping

At Chromabook, we create your custom products on demand, which means every physical item you order—whether it's a book, yearbook, photo book, comic book, calendar, or magazine—will be printed and bound just for you before it's shipped.

We have print facilities located around the globe, including in France, India, Australia, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States. Once your product is ready, we'll ship it straight to your door, no matter where you are.

Typically, our production time is 3-5 business days. You'll see an estimated production time for your specific order in your shopping cart before you check out.

For ebooks, there's no waiting around! As soon as your purchase is complete, you'll be able to download your ebook instantly.

We strive to get your Chromabook products to you as quickly as possible, but sometimes things happen that are beyond our control. Issues like incorrect delivery addresses, customs delays, natural disasters, or delivery restrictions can cause your order to take longer to arrive. In some cases, these delays may extend up to 6 weeks. Please understand that Chromabook cannot be held responsible for such delays, and we won’t be able to take action on these orders during this time.

Shipping Methods and Transit Times:

  • Untraceable Mail and Priority Mail: These services may take longer to deliver, sometimes up to 28 days. If your order hasn’t arrived within 28 days, you may be eligible for a reorder at the discretion of Chromabook Support. Please note that only one reorder will be offered for orders using untraceable shipping methods.

  • Mail Service Delivery: Packages shipped via standard mail will be delivered by the postal service in your destination country.

Customs, Duties, and Taxes:

Local customs and immigration agencies may apply duties or taxes to your package upon arrival in the destination country. These fees are determined by the local authorities and are the responsibility of the recipient. Chromabook cannot cover any additional costs due to shipment failure or late delivery.

Military and Diplomatic Addresses:

If you’re shipping to a military APO/FPO or diplomatic DPO address, your package must be sent via the US Postal Service. Ground, Expedited, and Express shipping options are not available for these addresses. Ensure that you select "United States of America" as the country during checkout to use USPS shipping.

We do support shipments to Armed Forces Europe, Armed Forces Pacific, and Armed Forces America. Choose the option that best fits your destination.

Extended Transit Times:

For shipments outside the continental United States (including Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, APO addresses, and other US territories), please allow for additional transit times. If your order takes longer than 14-21 days to arrive, contact Chromabook Support, and we may be able to place a reorder at our discretion.

Books are printed on-demand at printing facilities around the world. This means, when you place your order, we print it. While this process is very efficient and environmentally friendly, it can take just a bit more time before your order ships.

Books and Calendars  - Our normal production times are 3-5 business days, but your shopping cart will display the estimated production time specific to your order.

Ebook Downloads - Available immediately from the My Account > Order History page.

If your order stays in the Fulfilling status longer than the times listed above, please go to our online Customer Support form to submit a support request.

Once your Chromabook order is packaged and ready for delivery, we’ll send a shipment notification to the email address you provided at checkout. If you selected a traceable shipping method, your email will include a tracking number so you can keep an eye on your package's journey.

You can also track your order status anytime. If you're a registered user, just head over to your Order History page. For both guest and registered users, you can use our Order Lookup link to get the latest updates on your order.

The shipping confirmation email will include your order's tracking link, if applicable. Clicking it will open the tracking page on the site of the carrier for your order.

Note: There may be a 48-hour delay between the time you receive your shipping notification and the time your package is scanned into the tracking system.

If your order arrives with damage, a print defect, or is an incorrect book, please reach out to us and we’ll be happy to assist you. Please attach a digital image showing the problem with the order instead of shipping the book or package back to us.

Payment

Credit cards:
To ensure maximum security, your credit card details are encrypted using the SSL protocol before being transmitted. When you place an order, we reserve the purchase amount on your credit card. The sum is not deducted until the goods are dispatched. We use 3-D Secure for credit card payments. 3-D Secure is a process used to ensure additional safety for online credit card transactions. It was developed by VISA and is used for the Verified by Visa service and Mastercard SecureCode. 3-D Secure is intended to reduce the risk of fraud. When 3-D Secure is used for your order, a connection to the card issuer is created and you are then asked to confirm your identity by means of a password or by authentication on a smartphone. If the authentication is successful, the credit card payment will be processed.

PayPal:
If you select PayPal as the payment method, you will then be asked to log in to your PayPal account and confirm the payment. The purchase amount is simply reserved when you place the order. The sum will only be debited from your PayPal account when the goods are dispatched.

Credit cards/Debit card: Your credit card or debit card will be reserved with the total value of your order. With the authorization from the card issuer, we will debit the total amount when the order is dispatched.

* Your payment with card has been declined and you are unable to complete the transaction. Please check the following reasons.

- You may have entered some information incorrectly.

- You may have reached your credit limit. We recommend contacting your card issuer to check the limit.

If your reason is none of the above, our Customer Service team is happy to support you. However, we cannot access the details of your bank account or your card.

* Your purchase was denied, but you still have a pending authorization hold on your card.
If your purchase was not successful, any hold placed on your payment card will be released automatically. Depending on your card issuer, it will take some days for this to reflect on your account.
* When your order is partly or fully cancelled, the reserved amount will be released immediately.


Paypal: we will be reserved with the total value of your order. With the authorization from Paypal, we will debit the total amount when the order is dispatched.

We will send the invoice with all necessary details by e-mail with the shipping confirmation.
Invoices will not be sent by post. If you want to have the invoice of your order in pdf file, please contact our Customer Service via chat, phone or email. Be sure to include your order number when contacting us.

* Request amendments on your invoice: the invoice is automatically generated with the order details and it can not be changed. Therefore, please ensure to input the correct information when placing your order.

Orders & Returns

Do You Accept Returns?

We do not accept returns. We are a print-on-demand service and each order is custom printed.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at {email address} and send your item to: {physical address}.

 

Print-on-Demand Books and Calendars

If you received damaged, defective, or incorrectly packaged items, we are happy to provide a replacement copy. Please notify us within 30 days of your order’s shipment date through our online Customer support form.

Ebooks

Ebooks are not returnable or refundable and cannot be exchanged after purchase. If you need assistance with a purchase or download, please contact Chromabook Support.

Deliveries to Russia or Ukraine

Due to factors beyond our control, Lulu cannot ship orders to Russia or Ukraine.

Prisons

Before ordering, please take a moment to learn of any specific delivery restrictions. For example, prisons typically do not allow coil-bound books and require delivery via mail.
